Bagaimana dengan cekap mengalirkan tangki penyimpanan minyak dengan pam vane?

In oil depot maintenance, equipment oil replacement or emergency handling, it is a common requirement to quickly and thoroughly drain the oil tanks or containers. The seemingly simple "oil extraction" operation, to achieve the goal of "complete drainage" and "speediness", requires skills and appropriate equipment. The rotary vane pump (such as the YB series) is precisely the solution to this challenge. By mastering the following methods, you can achieve twice the result with half the effort.

CENTRAL CHALLENGE

Difficulty in "draining dry" : The efficiency of traditional pumps drops sharply when the liquid level is very low, and they may even be completely drained, leaving oil residue.

"Quick" bottleneck: The flow of high-viscosity oil products is hindered by significant resistance. If the flow rate of the ordinary pump is insufficient; improper operation may easily cause gas resistance.

Safety risks: The oil is flammable. The operation needs to be explosion-proof and anti-static.

Efficient "dewatering" operation guide:

1、Select the right pump type:

Firstly, based on the viscosity of the oil (temperature affects viscosity), the required flow rate (which determines the dewatering speed), and the head (which determines the lifting height or pipeline resistance), choose the appropriate YB pump model to ensure that its rated flow rate can meet your time requirements.

Strictly confirm the explosion-proof level: When pumping fuel oil, solvents, etc., which are flammable liquids, the pump type selected must meet the explosion-proof requirements of the site (such as Ex d IIC T4).

2、Optimize the suction piping:

The pipe diameter should be large enough: It can reduce the suction resistance, especially for high-viscosity oils. The pipe diameter should be large rather than small.

Keep it short and straightforward: Minimize bends and valves, shorten the suction pipe as much as possible, and enhance the self-suction speed and efficiency.

Inlet position: Use an oil suction cage or hose with a bottom valve, and ensure it is as close as possible to the lowest point of the tank bottom. For large flat-bottom tanks, it may be necessary to move the inlet position.

3、Startup and Operation:

Check the oil level and seal: Ensure that the suction port is submerged in the oil (during startup), and inspect the mechanical seal, etc.

Smooth startup: Open the outlet valve (or ensure the outlet is unobstructed), then start the pump. The YB pump has a strong self-priming capability and usually does not require additional priming of the oil.

Control the rotational speed: Utilize a frequency converter or select a motor with an appropriate number of poles to avoid running at excessively high speeds. Follow the principle of "low speed for large flow", maintain stable and efficient suction, and reduce air resistance. Data shows that it has significant advantages at low rotational speeds.

Monitoring status: Pay attention to the outlet pressure, flow rate and sound. A sudden drop in pressure or abnormal sound may indicate that the liquid level is too low or there is insufficient air intake.

4、Techniques for the "Drain" stage:

Inclined container: If possible, tilt the container (such as an oil drum or small oil tank) towards the suction port to collect the remaining oil.

Using oil-absorbing baffles: In large flat tanks, temporary diversion baffles can be placed to guide the remaining oil to the suction port.

Patience and low-speed operation: When approaching the point of complete deplection, the oil film and remaining oil droplets have poor fluidity. Keep the pump running at a lower speed and utilize the excellent sealing performance and self-priming ability of the vane pump. Patiently "scrape" away the final remaining residue. At this time, the wear compensation design of the YB pump can ensure that it still has a certain suction capacity.

Auxiliary tools: For blind spots, a manual pump or an oil suction gun can be used to handle the remaining small amount of residual oil.

5、Safety and Maintenance:

Grounding! The pump body and piping must be reliably grounded to discharge static electricity.

Avoid idling: Stop the pump immediately after draining to prevent damage to the blades and pump chamber due to dry friction.

Regular maintenance: Taking advantage of its "simple structure and low maintenance cost" features, regular inspections are conducted to check for blade wear (wear compensation has a limit), seal condition, and cleanliness of the filters.

Conclusion

To quickly drain the oil using a YB series rotary vane pump, the key lies in leveraging its "strong self-priming ability, proficiency in handling viscous oil, low rotational speed with high flow rate, and long-lasting wear resistance" features, along with the optimization of the piping system and operational techniques. Remember that "running at low speed" is crucial. It not only speeds up the process but also enables smooth drainage of the tank bottom, ensuring safety. Choosing the right tool and operating scientifically, clearing the storage tank and emptying it no longer becomes a time-consuming and laborious chore!
